Job description
This position is a week end manager position. Responsible for the overall direct care of residents on the week end. Conducts rounds of all departments on the week end, assists with assessing residents as needed, contacts families and providers as needed on the week end. Serves as family liasion on the week end. Consults via telephone with Director of Nursing or Administrator on the week end as needed, notifies DON or Admin of any issues on the week end.Monitors staffing, answers staff call outs and arranges for staff replacement/coverage as needed on the weekend
This position starts call at 5pm on Friday evenings and ends at 7am on Monday mornings. Normal working hours are 7am-7pm on Saturday and Sundays, but may have to flex hours on the week end to cover a shift, but this position is not expected to work more than 24 hours. This position is bonused 8 hours each week -end for working 24 hours.
