RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initiates / arranges customer visits in Europe with the involvement of Sales / Business manager
- Initiates and coordinates customer projects to generate Hair Care & Cleansing business in Europe
- Performs technical sales calls to existing and potential customers, indirect customers as well as distribution partners on a regular basis
- Promotes Hair Care & Cleansing products, including technical presentations, promotion of Evonik Concepts, and digital marketing within the region to support the achievement of sales and profit targets (Direct Customers, Distribution Customers, Distributors and Brand Owners)
- Participates in tradeshows, industry events & associations promoting and advocating for Evonik's Hair Care & Cleansing products
- Studies market trends, competitors and their product lines, and key customers in the segment
- Opportunity management and visit / customer project reporting via D365 tool
- Works closely with the regional Account Managers and Applied Technology Team, to gather all necessary information for the Hair Care & Cleansing market
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Science and MBA desirable
- 3-5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing or Technical Service, ideally in the personal care industry
- Strong technical expertise on our Hair Care & Cleansing portfolio and formulations
- Expertise with Hair Care & Cleansing products in personal care applications is highly beneficial
- Ability to network with customers, sales, application lab and marketing to establish a strong customer relationship
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset
- Fluent English skills, German is a plus
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (~50%)
