JENNIFER FISHER is seeking a dynamic and engaging Sales Supervisor to join our Soho Store in New York City. Reporting to the Store Manager, the Sales Supervisor will be a brand ambassador to the rapidly growing Jennifer Fisher brand. The Sales Supervisor’s primary focus will be to help lead and execute all efforts required to achieve the best high quality client experience and build long lasting client relationships. In addition, the Sales Supervisor will coach and train team members to reach and maintain high performance while ensuring elevated client experience is delivered at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
As an integral part of the Jennifer Fisher Soho Store team, the Sales Supervisor will be responsible for but not limited to:
Sales:
- Provide exceptional customer service making clients feel comfortable, allowing them space to explore, and guiding them during the Shopping Experience on the floor/phone/virtually
- Demonstrate an in-depth wealth in product knowledge of both fashion jewelry (brass) and fine jewelry
- Act as stylist offering product knowledge and honest feedback
- Offer personalized client experience and identify individual client needs
- Lead with clienteling: build, develop, and maximize client retention engagement and sustained relationships; inspire others to generate clientele
- Establish a client book and client retention
- Facilitate POS checkout process and assist with operational tasks
- Maintain the store is clean and cases are neat, organized, stocked, and follows the brand visual image at all times
- Ensure grooming (self-image) is professional and reflective of the JF Brand, Visual and Look-guide standards at all times
- Keyholder
- Maintain a strong knowledge of the boutique/local jewelry market business and assess opportunities to implement proactive and effective sales strategies
- Develop partnership strategies and networking activities to increase in-store sales and further develop the VIP client experience
- Target profitable partnerships and create local awareness of Jennifer Fisher with potential bounce-back initiatives
- Execute trunk shows, activations, in-store and offsite events, philanthropic incentives
- Drive results to deliver an elevated client experience, ensuring that all client’s needs are consistently exceeded and to cultivate the relationship beyond the initial sale
- Make sure that clienteling metrics are always met independently across the board
- Monitor performance to meet or exceed topline sale goals and placing an emphasis on leveraging Key Performance Indicators.
Visual Merchandising (VM):
- Display constant attention to visual merchandising
- Support and execute on all VM directives set out including jewelry case and tray displays, floor maintenance, collateral, and drawer organizations
- Maintain impeccable VM standards for all product that lives on the sales floor and back of house
- Ensure that organization and cleanliness standards are met
Operations/Procedures:
- Lead and execute opening and closing duties; this includes managing all aspects of the store’s day-to-day operations
- Ensure that all protocols with the POS and sales guidelines are followed at all times, without exception
- Ascertain that safety measures are in place and adhered to
- Follow and uphold company standards on behavior, policies, and procedures, including that grooming standards are met, reflective of the brand image at all times
- Participate in training, developing, coaching, and motivating team members
Our Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years of management experience in a retail environment, luxury preferred Knowledge of POS Systems; shopify a plus
- Jewelry experience is desired but not necessary; if no jewelry experience, must have a personal passion for jewelry and excitement for the brand
- Vast sales and clienteling experience
- Ability to grasp operational tasks
- Strong professional communication and conversational skills
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and customer service skills, adaptable to diverse customers
- Adept at problem-solving and deescalating stressful situations
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
- Adept at multi-tasking and taking initiatives

Working Conditions
- Position is full time and in-store (Soho)
- Team flexibility with ability to work weekends & holidays, based on business needs
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand for a lengthy period of time
- On occasion lift, unpack, and pack boxes
- Perform manual tasks that may be repetitive
Salary Range
$65,500 - $75,000
rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate's relevant skills and experience
