Job description

We are a small but very busy tax and accounting office in need of a front desk receptionist/bookkeeper. Tax season (Jan 1-Apr 15) duties include, but are not limited to: answering a 4-line phone system, greeting clients, accepting payments, scheduling client appointments, filing, and other misc clerical duties. Reception experience helpful, friendly, calm demeanor very helpful, time flexibility a plus as well. Post Tax Season (Apr 16-Dec 31) duties include, but are not limited to: above-listed reception duties, small business bookkeeping, writing and recording payroll checks for small businesses, preparing quarterly and year-end payroll reports, other misc bookkeeping duties. Bookkeeping and payroll experience a huge plus, ability to communicate with clients in a professional, friendly manner also a huge plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
