Since 1971, Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided a comprehensive continuum of high-quality, essential, and community-based services to citizens of the Peninsula who are affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.

H-NNCSB provides a full array of person-centered services to youth, adolescents, families, and adults in Hampton and Newport New. Our comprehensive continuum of care includes Prevention and Early Intervention Services, Outpatient Services, Integrated Care, Day Support and Treatment, Residential, and Acute Inpatient. Our workforce is comprised of licensed staff such as Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Therapists and Nurses.

This Staff Psychologist is responsibile for coordinating child, adolescent, and adult psychological evaluations through direct service provision and supervision of others providing evaluation services. Additional responsibilities include providing ongoing consultation and training throughout division and agency as needed.

Requirements:

Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology, one-year predoctoral supervised clinical internship, one-year post-doctoral supervised experience. Experience in a clinical setting working with emotionally troubled children and affected families to include experience performing comprehensive psychological evaluations and therapy. Virginia Licensed Clinical Psychologist..

The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
