Job description

The Project Manager/Project Controller will be part of a team overseeing various aerospace projects. They will manage the scope, schedule, and budget throughout the project lifecycle and will have direct responsibility for developing and tracking cost and schedule along with project information in the appropriate systems.

• Develops and maintains project management plan to control project schedule, scope, and total cost estimate as well as identify resources for successful project delivery.
• Maintaining overall project data, including but not limited to Risk, Action, Issue, Decision logs.
• Resolves issues and mitigates risks by engaging experts and stakeholders on projects. Escalates to management as appropriate.
• Develops metrics and reports so that accurate and timely information can be provided to management and stakeholders.
• Engages stakeholders throughout project lifecycle to set objectives, manage expectations, and provide status updates.
• Provides documentation support for project controls processes, policies and procedures; and identifies and recommends policy changes to improve the effectiveness of the organization and delivery of projects.
• Facilitates project definition and scoping through management of pre-design activities, engaging project sponsor, stakeholders, and relative experts.

The ideal candidate will have previous aerospace experience. Security clearance is not required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
