Looking for ON-CALL wedding planner’s assistant!!

We are looking for a passionate, energetic & dedicated wedding professional to help assist our lead planner on wedding & event days.

The Position:

Right now, we are searching for an on-call/as needed event planning assistant. As our business is rapidly expanding we hope this will eventually become a more regular position/full time planning position. We currently estimate that the successful candidate will be needed for a wedding or event roughly 2-3 times a month. We expect this will increase quickly as the company continues to increase our sales. This could be a fantastic opportunity to gain wedding industry experience with an exciting & growing wedding company!

Duties:

• Must study each event day timeline to ensure all timing & details are understood
• Assist with set-up/breakdown on wedding day
• Ability to be on their feet for 8+ hours & lift 30lbs
• Work late nights (approx. end time is usually about 11pm)
• Be comfortable with directing guests, wedding party members, and vendors
• Be timely, have a hard-work ethic, and an eye for design & detail
• Honestly & passionately represent the moonbeam brand & ethics

Requirements:

• A love for weddings and events & a desire to break into the industry
• Some experience or relevant educational experience is a plus
• A love of all things unique, fun, and weird!
• A car (events take place all over Savannah and its surrounding cities!)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• On call
• Weekend availability
