How you will do it:
This position will work under the supervision of a senior level-manufacturing engineer. Responsible for all production testing equipment, maintaining equipment that meets standards such as ISO 9000, Creating test programs for all production lines. This includes final functional test, Dual pressure, Charge, Key Component Verification, and the Watch dog systems. This role is also responsible for staying aware of the advanced technology and keeping our testing activities up to date with the latest technology. Helps to lead customer satisfaction in terms of quality, efficiency, and lead time while promoting employee development in a safe environment.
What you will do:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following skills and abilities. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Perform assigned project development work.
2. Perform the implementation of New software releases by the Controls Engineering Group.
3. Works with Maintenance to maintain the functionality of all test equipment.
4. Creates and Maintains the Test Programs for all production lines.
5. Works with IT to keep all production areas functional and up to date with the latest software releases.
6. Participate in Fail analysis tracking and escalation. Implement new methods to eliminate rood cause in the testing areas.
7. Participate in the 8-D process for items relating to the functionality of our products. +
8. Provide Technical Support for the products when necessary.
9. Track the test performance and make changes when required to support First Pass Yield improvements.

Education and/or Experience
1. Three to five year’s experience in the HVAC industry.
2. Associate degree in HVAC or related field.
3. A desire to learn basic engineering design principles relating to HVAC.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. Occasionally the employee is required to climb or balance. Employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move from (5) five to (50) fifty pounds. Anything over 50 lbs. requires physical or mechanical assistance. Employee must be able to raise arms to chest level, above shoulder level and overhead. Must be able to reach with hands and arms; use hands to fingers, handle or feel. Must be able to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus with or without corrective lenses.
