Job Summary:

University Lawn Care is seeking a dedicated and reliable Lawn Care Technician to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD. As a Lawn Care Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and health of our clients' lawns by performing various lawn care tasks, such as mowing, trimming, edging, and fertilizing. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to providing top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine lawn care tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing off sidewalks and driveways.
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides as needed, following safety guidelines and proper application techniques.
• Perform lawn aeration, dethatching, and overseeding services as required.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of flower beds, shrubs, and other landscape features.
• Operate and maintain lawn care equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and spreaders.
• Identify and report any lawn issues, pests, or diseases to the supervisor or manager.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service to clients.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management or as needed to meet business demands.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques, equipment, and best practices.
• Ability to operate lawn care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional overtime.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.06 - $25.73 per hour
