Clover Leaf is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to work at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory in either Pennsylvania or New York. The Engineer will be responsible for providing timely, high-quality, customer service-based engineering solutions to support the operation, maintenance, renovation, and new construction of facilities & infrastructure at the Kesselring Site, which supports the United States Nuclear Fleet.

The ideal candidate should have:

• a BS degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Industrial Fire Protection, or Mechanical Engineering,
• working knowledge of building/fire codes, NFPA 13, 25, 72, and related standards.
• 5-10 years of practical experience in fire protection design and/or maintenance,
• security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Desired skills and qualifications include:

• an EIT certificate and/or PE license,
• engineering consulting experience, and
• a minimum of four years of progressive engineering practice, three of which were in responsible charge of diverse fire protection engineering work
• experience with the design and maintenance of fire protection systems, including alarm and detection, water-based and gaseous suppression systems, fire and life safety code reviews, and fire hazard analysis.
