Full-Time Assistant to Composer

A hands-on, full-time, salaried composer's assistant position is now available in Los Angeles. This person must be willing to work as an assistant on a variety of tasks assigned by the composer and/or team members, including administrative and technical tasks, with an opportunity to grow into more musical tasks.

Qualifications:

-Fluent knowledge of Logic Pro, Pro Tools, and Vienna Ensemble Pro

-An understanding of signal flow, procedures, hardware, and software

-Experience with timecode, sync, and musical conforms to picture, whether from own work or previous experience working for a composer

-Analog and digital studio maintenance and troubleshooting experience

-Strong organizational and administrative skills

-Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills and procedures

-Strong knowledge of film music terminology

-Available to work Monday through Friday

Requirements:

-Must have a car

-Must be available full time

-Must be able to handle tasks with efficiency and discretion

-Must maintain a clean workspace
