The Role

The client is looking for desktop/sys-admin support engineer who can balance technology skills with project management and good communication skills. The right candidate would be able to own their infrastructure-related project work, coordinate IT-related vendors while supporting their internal clients (users). This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to help build a global investment firm with satellite offices around the world while growing their role in the process. This role is part of our client's business and supports the asset management business of a leading global investment management company.

Requirements

The individual will have demonstrated an ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with an ability to troubleshoot, find creative and practical solutions, and learn new skills- all with good communication skills and professional bedside manner.

· Bachelor or associates degree from in Information Technology/Information Systems, etc.

· 3-5 years experience (preferably in finance and/or telecom).

· 2+ years working experience and advanced proficiency in Windows and windows servers

· 4+ years working experience in a technical role

· 2+ years in Networking technologies

· Active Directory and office 365 components

· Mobile Device Management (InTune preferred)

· Solid grounding in core enterprise applications such as Email, Telecommunications and Networking

· Solid understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals

· VOIP Telephony

· A positive attitude, strong work ethic and a desire to work collaboratively across the organization.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
