Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a Clinical Operations Project Manager. This role will support programs and projects that enable in-person, virtual, and hybrid clinical care delivery throughout the rural Midwest. A successful candidate is passionate about impacting the lives of patients by developing key enablers that promote improved access to care, enhanced care coordination. PRIMARY OBJECTIVES: · Follow through on the completion of projects/tasks specific to new and existing Clinical Services while managing relationships with vendors, external contacts and internal resources to achieve company goals. · Investigate and solve non-standard requests and problems and ensure that project documentation and execution is accurate, complete and punctual. · Identify and arrange for execution of end-to-end operational impacts, timelines and allotment of staffing/funding for any new Clinical Services or for enhancements to existing Clinical Services. · Lead others in the organization to make meaningful process improvements to help make continuous enhancements to Clinical Service offerings. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Aid in the development of operational processes to support business process enhancements (end-to-end process flow development).· Support business areas when challenges are encountered and assist in successfully removing barriers.· Think strategically while maintaining a tactical focus to achieve strategies that are supported by leadership and stakeholders.· Lead and help develop business case statements, in consultation with applicable stakeholders, for new Clinical Services or new enhancements to existing Clinical Services. · Collect, analyze, and maintain financial forecast information using input from applicable sources for any new Clinical Service or for new enhancements to existing Clinical Services.· Develop, communicate, and implement program/project risk/issue management plans and strategies (e.g. mitigation, avoidance, transfer, and acceptance). · Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follows through on issues in a timely manner.· Provide measurable, scalable, and profitable direction around all activities. · Identify new opportunities, outline project plan(s), and implement new processes according to timelines. · Understanding of Medicare STARs ratings including but not limited to HEDIS and CAHPS· Knowledge of revenue cycle management of medical claims · Educate adult learners on clinical programs and provide feedback on performance · Support workforce engineering efforts to ensure programs are staffed to meet business needs · Develop tools, resources, and relationships to support onsite and virtual care delivery efforts · Work collaboratively with both clinical and operational staff to support improved health outcomes for patients and to meet and exceed clinical care and financial goals · All other duties as assigned. DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree and supervisory experience required· Knowledge of and ability to appropriately and correctly apply the techniques, methods, procedures, principles and practices of the healthcare profession· Basic knowledge of HCC code recapture· Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken forms· Excellent organizational skills; self-directed with excellent time management and prioritization skills· Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment· Strong problem solving skills· Ability to be inquisitive and dig beyond the obvious to uncover other opportunities for improvements as well as issues, risks and other obstacles· Exceptional Excel skills· Excellent interpersonal skills· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and effective communications with physicians, other medical professionals, technicians, staff and customers· Effective negotiation skills, removing barriers get work completed· Ability to travel occasionally as needed· Reliability in reporting for work on time and when scheduled. Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when required.
