We are seeking a Help Me Grow Team Lead and Family Support Specialist (Home Visitor)

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. Essential Functions:

  • Supervises and coordinates activities of staff through various methods including but not limited to team meetings and regular communications.
  • Manages referrals and assigns caseloads and related duties to staff.
  • Represents the organization in the community and maintains relationships with community partners.
  • Provides routine support and assistance to staff through individual and group conferences, assistance in analyzing case problems, and in improving their diagnostic and helping skills.
  • Evaluates performance of staff members and recommends appropriate action to the manager.
  • Participate in the review and selection of new staff, including but not limited to completion of position requisitions, applicant reviews, and interviews.
  • Responsible for implementation and oversight of organizational policies, procedures and/or processes.
  • Trains new employees in areas such as organizational policy, procedures, and accreditation or governmental regulations.
  • Conducts record reviews, assists in, or maintains the data collection system
  • Implements a quality assurance plan,
  • Reviews and approves billing notes in OCHIDS.
  • Liaison with other agencies and monitor contracts as well as ongoing program development.
  • Conduct team meetings and planning groups, and provides daily support and crisis management.
  • Meets billing productivity requirements established by Integrated Services for Behavioral Health.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Human Services or fields related to working with children and families, or Bachelor’s degree in these fields with 3 years of relevant experience, or less than a bachelor’s degree but with commensurate HFA experience
  • A solid understanding of or experience in supervising diverse staff with humility, as well as providing support to staff in stressful work environments
  • Knowledge of infant and child development and parent-child attachment
  • Experience with family services that embraces the concepts of family-centered and strength-based service provision
  • Knowledge of parent-infant health and dynamics of child abuse and neglect
  • Experience supporting culturally diverse communities/families
  • Experience in home visiting with a strong background in early childhood prevention services
  • Willingness to engage in building reflective practice
  • Infant mental health endorsement preferred
  • Experience with reflective practice preferred
  • Certification as a Help Me Grow Supervisor through the State of Ohio
  • Ability to establish trusting relationships
  • Acceptance of individual differences
  • Experience with multi-need individuals and families
  • Broad knowledge of community service systems
  • Licensed and able to operate a motor vehicle with appropriate level of insurance coverage
  • Willing to participate in and lead cross-systems team building activities
  • Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression
  • Must be able to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment
