Visual Media Specialist
As a Communications Specialist at Mosaic, you’ll use your arsenal of skills to produce engaging and compelling visual content, primarily for our external digital channels. Day-to-day you’ll work with a wide variety of people to tell the story of Mosaic and the important work we do to support food security, sustainability, innovation and technology.

Where You’ll Work:
This is a hybrid role that, depending on your location, may involve onsite work at our Executive Office (located at 101 East Kennedy Blvd, Tampa, FL). In this role, you can expect to spend ~15% of your time traveling.

For candidates local to the Tampa area, you’ll work onsite 1-2 days weekly, and the rest from home.

For candidates not local to the Tampa area, you’ll work remotely with occasional travel
What You’ll Do:
-
Expertly edit and produce compelling videos into branded content for digital channels, including for web, social, advertising, and more
-
Capture original video content
-
Package all creative assets for vendor and partner use
-
Curate image and video options from internal and external sources

Copywrite for creative projects to position them on our channels

Work with team members to identify content needs and opportunities
-
Offer creative solutions to deliver new and platform-optimized content

Apply best-practices and available performance data to guide content creation choices

Work with other in-house creators, agencies, and vendors to source images and shots
-
Prepare guidance and coordinate shoots for creative needs
-
Assist with tactical social media execution
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Around 3-5 years of experience creating visually compelling content
-
Advanced skills with design editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Premier, After Effects, etc.)

A degree, certification, or technical training in a related field
-
Expert photo and video editing skills
-
Stellar written and verbal communication skills
-
An eye for trends and the ability to create optimized content for digital platforms

Experience using and adhering to corporate brand guidelines

The ability to propose and deliver content that supports business and project goals

The drive to work independently and follow high-level instructions

The ability to prioritize and meet important deadlines
Bonus Points If You Have:

Professional experience with social media platforms

Experience with digital asset and/or project management systems

Have the ability to speak more than 1 language
