Pathways’ LGBTQIA+ Program is seeking a full-time therapist!

*Experience working specifically with individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community is preferred. Training on considerations while working with individuals who identify with this population is also provided.

There is a significant need in the LGBTQIA+ community for therapists who have competence and passion for serving them. Providing quality care to these individuals is our top priority.

PLEASE NOTE: It may take up to two months to reach full-time capacity- however, our new client intake and billing team will be working diligently to ensure this happens as quickly as possible. A $2,500 bonus will be awarded after 3 months of meeting full-time contract terms.

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS

This is currently a position that can be performed 100% remote, 100% in-person, or a combination of the two based on client preferences. For remote services, the therapist will provide services to clients through a video platform and/or the use of the phone without audio.

Clients are given the option of meeting with therapists through telehealth or in person. Our office in St. Paul, MN has private therapy rooms to be utilized for in person appointments.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide psychotherapy through telehealth and/or in the office to individuals aged 18 and up.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments.
• Attend monthly professional meetings.

SUPERVISION FOR THE FOLLOWING LICENSURES IS AVAILABLE!

• Licensed Psychologist (LP)
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

CONTRACT COMMITMENT/ SCHEDULE and COMPENSATION

Please note: This is an INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR position- paid time off and health insurance are NOT provided.

*Flexibility, supervision, the opportunity for mid and end-of-year bonuses, and the ability to adapt your client schedule into your own lifestyle are!

• Minimum of a one-year commitment.
• Maintain a full-time (minim of 25) caseload of clients.
• The schedule for this position is FLEXIBLE.
• It will be determined between the therapist and his/her clients, with the exception of three to five monthly supervision and professional meetings.
• LPCC, LMFT, LICSW supervision is provided by Pathways!
• Psychotherapy and assessment services are reimbursed at a flat rate.
• A $2,500 bonus will be awarded after 3 months of meeting full-time contract terms.
• Travel time for community-based services is also reimbursed.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

• Monthly training on subjects such as considerations and best practices for working with individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community, integrative health, suicide prevention, motivational interviewing, and best practices for trauma-informed care.
• FREE attendance to CEU-approved training.
• Online training makes it easy to maintain state mental health training requirements and provides free CEUs upon completion that is available for Pathways' Team Members.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Master’s degree.
• Experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community.

Pay: $1,100.00 - $1,400.00 per week

In order to accommodate everyone's safety during the COVID-19 situation, therapy services have the option to provide all services via Telehealth and will continue this way until July of 2023.
