DDI Technology is seeking a Support Coordinator to join our team in Irmo, SC.

The Support Coordinator will complete task professionally, courteously, and in a timely manner providing set-up and support with computing resources to DDI employees, maximizing computer system capabilities by studying technical applications and making recommendations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of DDI’s computing resources, including PCs, servers, printers, faxes, phones, and network appliances and infrastructure.
- Assists and trains DDI personnel in the use of computing resources; sets up user accounts for DDI employees; Assists with technical application support issues.
- Maintains asset inventory and license management of all DDI software and hardware resources.
- Ensures servers and other network devices are backed up; ensures data backups and archives are complete; Performs backup audits.
- Achieves computer system objectives by gathering pertinent data; identifying and evaluating options; recommending a course of action.
- Evaluates vendor-supplied software by studying user objectives, testing software compatibility with existing hardware and programs.
- Places software into production by loading software into computer; entering necessary commands.
- Places hardware into production by establishing connections; entering necessary commands.
- Maintains historical records by documenting hardware and software changes and revisions.
- Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other related duties as assigned by management.
Job Competencies and Requirements:

- Education and/or experience – An Associate Degree from an accredited college or university in a field of study with emphasis on IT in business context or 1-3 years’ experience in networking and windows domain, troubleshooting network and hardware equipment, knowledge in PC setup and maintenance, familiarity with Microsoft Office business applications and similar software applications, and knowledge on computer security issues OR an acceptable combination of education and experience.
