Inside the Role
The successful candidate for this role will be laser focused on creating value for DTNA by developing and supporting supplier engagement programs throughout the manufacturing launch and changeover process. This will be achieved through the proactive coordination of vendor activities to ensure cost, delivery, and quality targets are met according to customer requirements and manufacturing schedules.

The successful candidate will need to be able to leverage data to identify opportunities for process improvement and supplier engagement. They will also need to be a proven collaborator and facilitator, able to negotiate a complex landscape of internal and external stakeholders.

Position offers a starting salary range of $67,500 - $86,500 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA
  • Support the Launch & Change Management team by identifying and developing programs to engage with suppliers to proactively ensure that they are ready to provide high quality parts in the needed quantities to DTNA plants on time.
  • Execute and facilitate processes designed to proactively ensure suppliers are ready to provide high quality parts in needed quantities to truck plants on time.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders including Engineering, Purchasing, Supplier Management, Plants, Inbound Logistics & IT to proactively prevent issues with part quality and/or availability.
  • Organize and facilitate collaborations with DTNA procurement and supplier management teams to execute escalation models for supplier shortage management.
  • Track Supplier Launch Readiness KPI’s and assign actions as necessary to meet supplier performance objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate data driven approaches to supplier engagements.
  • Support high-level project objectives efficiently and within agreed-upon timelines.
  • Engage in clear communication and coordination with team members.

Knowledge You Should Bring
  • BS/BA OR 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
  • Bachelor's in Supply Chain & Logistics Management
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Project management experience
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
  • Creative thinking and demonstrated ability to develop new processes & tools
  • Experience working with diverse groups of stakeholders to achieve tangible, timely results
  • Passion for continuous improvement and innovation
