Job description

We are seeking an organized and creative Social Media Coordinator to develop and curate engaging content for our social media platforms. This individual will work closely with our Creative Manager to manage the content creation and publishing process, as well as monitor current trends in social media.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and drive traffic to our website
• Create and curate engaging content for all social media platforms (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok).
• Attend events, photo shoots, and produce live social media content - this includes after hours
• Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media channels
• Researching content and consumer trends to ensure that content is relevant and appealing
• Creating and managing highlights and stories daily
• Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments daily
• Re-posts stories on assigned accounts daily and weekends
• Proofreading and editing content before publishing
• Using Asana task management software to track and meet deadlines
• Communicate effectively and respond to clients within 48 hours

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be able to create engaging and informative captions
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Creative and able to think outside the box
• Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools such as Agorapulse and Canva
• Excellent social listening skills
• Impeccable time management skills
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a face-paced environment
• Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
• Experience within the hospitality or tourism industry is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
