The V2500 Customer Technical Service (CTS) team is looking for a solution-oriented individual to represent CTS on the V2500 engine partnership known as International Aero Engines (IAE), a global alliance between Pratt & Whitney (PW), Japanese Aero Engine Corporation (JAEC) and MTU Aero Engines.

The engineer will interact directly with commercial airline customers regarding engineering inquiries. They will provide technical guidance, including acting as the primary source for disposition of hardware across the global network of MRO shops. The engineer will also have the opportunity to present technical information to commercial airlines and the MRO network in customer conferences.

The engineer will contribute to the development of junior team members and work closely with department leadership to promote team cohesion, support the vision and strategy of the department, and ensure quality and customer satisfaction expectations are being met.

Essential Functions Include:

  • Support the preparation and closure of Engineering Authorization documents (EA’s) as requested by customers or the program
  • Coordinate Service Bulletins (SBs) and support preparation of Technical Review presentations
  • Support repair development activities. Communicate with customer to understand needs and report repair development status
  • Work with Pratt & Whitney, MTU Munich and JAEC colleagues on a regular basis, involving cultural intelligence and further strengthening of the P&W/MTU partnership

Requirements for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in relevant field
  • 5-12+ years of related engineering experience within the industry
  • 3 years of experience in program/project management
  • Industry MRO experience is preferred
  • Experience leading a team with the ability to provide support and guidance to team members
  • Eligible to work in the United States without Sponsorship
  • Occasional travel (international and domestic) is required
  • Full COVID-19 Vaccination
