Great Company! We are a leading manufacturer of lab ware for the biotech and industrial research industries. We are seeking a Scientist. The Scientist is responsible for coordinating activities of personnel engaged in performing chemical and physical tests required for quality control of processes and products.

Primary job responsibilities:

• Responsible for quality control and contamination monitoring, and supporting the development of new products.
• Responsible for working with customer support and the company’s sales team to research and answer customer questions, including technical inquiries.
• Works with the company’s engineering department to evaluate and evolve new products. Also, has the opportunity to work with the company’s marketing department to support advertising campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications:

• The candidate should have a strong technical background and molecular biology skills, including lab bench work experience in an academic or corporate setting.
• Experience managing a lab is desired, as is the ability to perform independent work.
• A breadth of knowledge of modern biotechnology, biochemistry, or chemistry techniques is helpful, as is the ability to research new and novel techniques that may fit with the company’s product portfolio.
• The candidate should also be comfortable working with and explaining lab bench work techniques to a variety of stakeholders, including manufacturing technicians, sales and marketing personnel, and management.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology, biochemistry or related science/engineering field is required.
• One to two years experience working in a lab environment or industrial scientific setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
