Universal Cells (UCI) is announcing a Research Associate II Core Technologies, Analytics opportunity at their facility in Seattle, WA .

Purpose:
We are seeking a highly capable, self-motivated Research Associate II for our Core Technologies Department. This individual will contribute to the further molecular engineering for our gene edited Universal Donor Cells. They will work as a key member on a fast-paced team to develop molecular and cellular assays to characterize our proprietary Universal Donor Cells.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Routinely executing standard molecular analytical assays including primer design and PCR/qPCR.
Routinely performing aseptic cell culture of pluripotent stems cells for general maintenance or experiment execution
Contributes to reagent and sample organization and inventory management systems
Completes experiments and gathers data in a systematic manner, utilizing strong multitasking and time management skills
Summarizing and presenting data in both oral and written formats.
Team player; collaborating effectively with various team members and other departments.
Maintain accurate records and work collaboratively to record experimental data

Organizational Context:
As part of a busy team, with minimal guidance, this role will work on multiple components of a project in the lab, interacting with multiple functions or research groups. Collaboration and teamwork is necessary for optimal performance.
