Summary

The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will be responsible for conducting regulatory risk assessments of processes and procedures to ensure that they reflect current operational requirements

Responsibilities

• Conducting regulatory risk assessments of processes and procedures to ensure that they reflect current operational requirements.
• Effectively working to ensure that all company activities are compliant with regulations and current laws.
• Devise, implement and monitor policies that comply with legislation and amend as appropriate subject to changes in legislation
• Maintain a solid understanding of regulatory developments internally and externally, in addition to evolving best practice in compliance control.
• Host recurring internal and regulatory agency meetings and establish agendas and project tracking and follow up with high priority projects in conjunction with other compliance disciplines as needed.
• Communicate frequently with regulatory authorities for confirmation of regulatory approvals to ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements and are approved as per jurisdictional standards
• Maintain knowledge and assist in the analysis of e-gaming technical compliance standards in established and newly regulated markets
• Within the remit of the role, identify, improve, and document business processes to align with compliance requirements and increase the efficiency of such processes
• Develop project plans and track progress; prepare and maintain status reports and schedules, track milestones/deliverables and dependencies
• Prepare any relevant reports and summaries to ensure timely dissemination of information to all interested parties, including senior management, department heads, and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.

• 
  Secondary education
• At least two to five years of experience in Compliance field.
• Ability to obtain a gaming license, if required.
• Experience working with remote teams and peers
• High sense of responsibility, motivation & result driven attitude
• Adaptability and high stress resistance
• Good analytical skills and attention to details
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to relate professionally with external and internal clients alike.
• Preferred gaming industry experience
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong knowledge of PC computer software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe)
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal.
• Frequently using wrist motion, dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and writing, typing on computer keyboard.
• Willingness to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Gaming Employee Registration
