JOB SUMMARY

The Receiver will be responsible for checking in all deliveries of food and non-food products according to established department procedures, transporting products to designated storage areas including refrigerated and frozen storage units, rotating stock and maintaining storage areas in neat, orderly and sanitary conditions.

Receiver Responsibilities:

• Recieves food and non-food products and deliver products to food production and customer service areas
• Stocks service coolers as needed
• Keeps storage areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles clean at all times
• Follows all food safety guidelines from delivery to storage and will assist in completing a weekly physical inventory.
• Moves and rotates product for proper storage and use.
• Follows established procedures to report discrepancies

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience receiving and storing goods or handling food service supplies in a high volume operation
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Must have demonstrated basic math skills including food service weights and measures and be able to read and understand receiving lists, packaging labels and vendor invoices
• Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedure

Personal Apperance:

• Must abide by the brand standards.
• Slip resistant black shoes is a must.
• Must be clean-shaven at all times.
• All employees must maintain good personal hygiene. Fingernails must be cut and clean. Personal appearance must be suitable for work at all times.
• Maintain personal health and sanitation standards (wash hands when using restroom, etc.)

Physical Demands:

• Requires mobility, bending, and reaching from floor level to six (6) feet repeatedly
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering trays and carts weighing up to fifty (50) pounds through crowded areas.
• Working at a height of four feet.

Environmental Conditions:

• Use of chemicals and electrical equipment.
• Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality.

Sensory Demands:

• Normal sense of smell, touch, and sound.
• Normal vision range. Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to distinguish letters, symbols, or colors.

Mental Demands:

• The incumbent must also deal with a wide variety of people on various issues.
• Knowledge is required to perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percentages, and/or ratios.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
