Salary range: $94,000 - $104,00

Additional Compensation
Aegis may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Understanding and ability to present QA strategy to product and project teams.
  • Supervise Quality Assurance (QA) tasks for adherence to standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Responsible for initial training and onboarding of incoming QA personnel.
  • Define goals and objectives for the QA team in collaboration with the Quality Program Manager, Quality Engineering, Quality Control, Mission Assurance, and Risk Management.
  • Monthly creation and reporting of quality assurance metrics.
  • Manage staff to promote dedication, accountability, commitment, productivity and growth.
  • Mentor/support career development of personnel.
  • Conduct performance reviews.
  • Escalate issues to Quality Program Manager.
  • Monitor daily team activities, track productivity, and employee performance.
  • Perform peer reviews of completed work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and PowerBI.
  • Ability to work independently or in a group setting and communicate issues and concerns to management.
  • May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports.
  • Certification to ISO9001 or AS9100D.
  • Jacobs is a Beyond Zero safety-oriented company and this position will support the Jacobs Safety team to ensure that projects are being performed according to mandated safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 12 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 10 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 6 years of general experience
  • Must have of 7 years of directly related experience
  • Must have 1 year of documented leadership or management experience
  • Strong Communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to analyze complex problems
  • Must have experience in a quality leadership position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Ability to work independently or in a group setting and communicate issues and concerns clearly to all levels of leadership
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Requirements:
  • Have ASQ QA certification
  • Have experience with Root Cause Analysis and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis
  • Lean Six Sigma experience
  • Have a working knowledge of Risk Management Systems, ISO 9001, AS 9100D with practical application experience
  • Have experience using defect tracking tools and engineering tools used to document physical systems (e.g., Planet, Bentley)
  • Proficiency in PowerBI and/or Matlab
