Job Title: Part-time Assistant Program CoordinatorDepartment: Parks and Recreation - Sports Staff
Pay type: Part-time, hourly, non exempt.
The Jonesboro Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual for this part-time position. This position will provide the right individual with an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly, team-oriented work environment. This entry-level employee will assist in performing support functions at all recreation facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
Responsible for assisting in the coordination and implementation of all recreation programs.
Leading Level I and Level II Sports Staff, Program Volunteers, and Sports Officials.
Responsible for setting up and leading post-season events, Such as organizing and holding an awards ceremony, retrieval of equipment, inventory of all equipment, and directing to the proper storage facility.
May prepare information and practice plans for coaches, as well as, recruiting and training coaches.
Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.
