Job description
We have an immediate opportunity to join our growing company in our Centralized Business Office Department. We are currently seeking a full-time Payroll Specialist/Asst. Office Manager.
**** Auto Dealership Experience Required ****

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
  • Manage weekly and commission payroll processing consistent with federal and state wage and labor laws.
  • Calculates monthly sales commission using Excel.
  • Handle all payroll liens, garnishments, child support, and employee voluntary deductions.
  • Review payroll information and records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and submit payroll information reports to the supervisor.
  • Process payroll transfers and terminations in the HRIS.
  • Process new hire paper work including benefits.
  • Provide accounting support and cleaning schedules.
  • Handle bank & floor plan reconciliations for two stores.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
  • At least 1-year processing payroll in-house in an automotive dealership.
  • CDK Experience and/or Payroll Plus(ADP) experience a plus.
  • Processing hourly/salary/commissions.
  • Payroll taxes and payroll returns.
  • Posting payroll into accounting software.
  • Comfortable working with Excel spreadsheets
  • Must be knowledgeable in vehicle sales and calculation of different types of commissions in the automotive industry.
  • Experience using a dealership management system (DMS) and payroll platform.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
