Position Description
The purpose of this position is to ensure proper operation of the City"s utility lines. This is accomplished by operating heavy equipment, completing valve maintenance procedures, assisting with repairing main break leaks, maintaining City"s fire hydrants, locating utility lines for new and existing construction purposes, providing direction to Maintenance Worker I, communicating and coordinating utility maintenance efforts with contractors and inspectors. Other duties include maintaining utility maintenance equipment and interacting with other City employees and citizens. Why Work for the City of North Richland Hills?

What We're Looking For
MAINTENANCE WORKER II - UTILITIES - One year experience in water/wastewater maintenance or related field. Must have a Class "A" Commercial Driver"s License, with Tank Endorsement, with a good driving record over the last three years. Additional Information
Typical Work Schedule will be: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., stand-by required.
