Job Summary:

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery. They must have a general understanding of the machines they work with. Machine operators take care of all machine-specific functions such as configuring the equipment, loading, and operating the machines, and optimizing the machine capability. They should be a self-starter and should be willing to undergo training, if need be, to understand the operations of new equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
• Operate tools to aid in the manufacturing process.
• Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.
• Work with others to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.
• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Combination of additional education and experience.
• Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work and communicate well with others.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SUNDAY-THURSDAY 2:30pm-10:30pm

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 6 months minimum experience operating manufacturing machines.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to multitask.
• Able to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to work in an environment with a high level of noise and activity.
• Able to lift 30+ lbs. as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
