Job description
This is a long-term substitute position only and is available until the May timeframe or possibly longer. This position is 32.5 hours per week (6.5 hours per day) and pay $15/hour and hours are from 7:45-2:45. Individual will support students in a sub separate program. Responsibilities include: Prepare instructional material and learning activities in assigned classroom.Provide direct instruction to groups of students or individuals in or out of the classroom.This may include: Implementation of individualized and small group instruction and discussionsAccommodating and modifying materials to match students needs as prescribed by the teacher.Assist with the collection of student data.Consult with teachers on students progress and on specific strategies and methodologies to be used.Supervise unstructured time such as recess and/or lunch duty unless directed otherwise.Assist the teacher in clean-up.Assists with any other tasks students are not able to perform for themselvesDepending on assignment, provide assistance in escorting children to and from vehicles during drop-off or pick-up.Assist students in using technology.Assist substitutes in following lesson plans when classroom teacher is absentAbility to lift 30lbs.independentlyWillingness to participate in toileting activities is required.Provide other related duties that the Coordinator, Special Education Director, and/or teacher may assign
