Job description

Real job here. It's an entry-level position that could lead to; management, sales, purchasing or a long career here in logistics. We'd love to have you grow your career with us long-term.

What do we do?

Simply, we import seafood that we produce in; Iceland, Norway, China, Canada, Alaska and Greenland. We store it in cold storage facilities in the northeast as well as the northwest. We also produce crab products in Seattle. We ship to our distribution customers all over the US and Canada.

You won't be handling fish - we store it offsite. This is a professional job, in a professional office, but we like to have fun. Certainly not structured and corporate! Disciplined and fun, yes. You may occasionally be lifting heavy items.

Our company is made up of about 15 good people who are treated well and genuinely like each other.

Arrogance is not welcome, nor is baggage, craziness, dependency on drugs/alcohol.

What would you do?

You would be involved in the import of our products from overseas, arranging for domestic warehousing, arranging for freight to customers and choosing which items will be shipped. You would work collaboratively with our production and purchasing team as well as our sales team and current logistics staff. You will negotiate and must be assertive with those in the supply chain.

If you are looking for a career and you are responsible, you should send along your resume.

You should have computer skills and be familiar with; MS Office, Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook. You should also have good reading, writing and math skills.

This Job is ideal for someone who is:

  • Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous
  • Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
  • Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture
  • Reliable --Repeating this as we want someone we can rely on. We get a personal life, we want you to have a good balance, we don't want other obligations to impact your reliability.

Please be normal, have a desire to improve and grow and work in a professional environment with people who are genuinely good people. Please be normal.
