Our law office is seeking a Legal Assistant for our growing Broward office. We are looking for someone who is a fast learner, can work well as a team player, and also complete the following:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Requesting all Pre-litigation documents: police reports, medical records, and bills, insurance information, etc.
  • Regular and timely communication with clients, insurance companies, other law firms, and medical providers.
  • Able to answer phone calls and schedule meetings, hearings, depositions, etc.
  • Able to proficiently organize case files and properly file cases in alphabetical order.
  • Strong multitasking skills, highly organized, and detail oriented.
  • Able to work at a fast pace with a heavy case volume.
  • Prepare demands and closing statements.
  • Working knowledge on how to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
  • Able to problem solve when the situation calls for it.
  • Commitment to providing smart, friendly, quality service to our clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
