We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Lead Manager, Fircosoft Administration to join our Pershing Privacy and Controls team. This role is located in Jersey City, NJ - Lake Mary, FL - Pittsburgh, PA as a hybrid role.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Lead a Pershing Sanctions Business Support team that provides operational support and transformation/enhancements to Pershing’s static and transactional filter, alert monitoring system and utility components.
Provides oversight and guidance on the Regulatory, Sanctions and Internal list management daily processing by the team - including proper filter list scanning maintenance and testing
Acts as senior testing lead, provides oversight and guidance for periodic testing and tuning of Lexis Nexis/Fircosoft filter, alert monitoring and utility components.
Perform risk and typology assessments
Provide business support for the reduction of filter false positive alerts by identifying rules and exception processing opportunities ensuring the required testing is performed and documented per enterprise policies
Partner with Technology, Business and Operations teams to develop new system controls and sanction screening technology gap closures; at times perform root cause analysis and support the resolution of production issues. Perform Ad-hoc project Requests requiring testing and analysis of data, ad-hoc scanning needs and reporting related to Sanctions/AML Compliance needs which includes dealing with daily performance issues requiring RCA support and solutions.
Participate in ad-hoc remediation or business specific projects which may include examinations and/or internal and external audits
Act as Agile Product Owner for the business Sanctions Support team projects
Act as Lexis Nexis/FircoSoft vendor relationship manager and business contact for the Business Sanctions Support activities (including, but not limited to budget, SOWs, Contracts, production issues or any other testing)
Lead Business Technology liaison in the JIRA change control process
Performs and/or oversight and approval of Business Continuity and Resiliency testing
Oversees monitoring of key KRI, KPI and metrics surrounding the oversight of the Pershing’s (static and transactional) filter and alert monitoring system
Contributes to the preparation of time sensitive reporting and appropriately escalates issues to more experienced professionals
Highly motivated, self-starter capable of working independently, with limited supervision and ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
5-7 years work experience with 3+ years of experience in Sanctions Compliance / KYC / Financial Crimes in a global bank, financial institution, and management experience preferred

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $79,000 and $147,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
