Position: In-House Substitute Teacher (Full Time- 172 days/year)
Start Date: Immediately

Position Description:
As a teacher, you will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. You are challenged with new teaching methods and educational tools in an ever changing and strategic environment.

Position Requirements:
● Adhering to the curriculum and lesson plans assigned by the regular teacher.

● Following procedures and achieving lesson goals.
● Assigning and explaining homework.
● Overseeing students outside of the classroom, including in the hallways and cafeteria.
● Complying with all school regulations and policies at all times.
● Taking attendance and documenting daily notes.
● Ensuring the classroom and work stations are kept clean and orderly.
● Overseeing the normal classroom rhythms and activities.
● Compiling a report for the teacher for when they return
● Collaborate with colleagues with the intent of deepening pedagogical content knowledge, improving teaching practices, and creating problem-based learning opportunities.

Qualifications Required:
● Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution with a valid state teaching license and highly qualified content knowledge.
● Experience with Learning Management Systems and Google preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,680.00 - $93,437.00 per year
