General Manager
NaturChem is a leader in the Vegetation Management Services industry. We provide services to clients across the south/southeast to control vegetation. TheGeneral Manageroversees the operation and management of vegetation management services for customers across their territory. They are the top-line manager for all functions within their location. This position reports to a regional Vice President and Corporate stakeholders.

In this role you will
Lead and coordinate with sales and operations to sell, complete, and invoice jobs.
Lead and direct all internal team members.
Train and develop employees ensuring a focus on safety and best practices.
Manage business administration including budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, hiring, terminations, training, and more.
Facilitate the proper maintenance company vehicles and equipment.
General Responsibilities
Supervising the planning, maintenance, and scheduling of services.
Overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment used and the purchasing of all products and services.
Rendering professional leadership and services to the customers.
Leading training initiatives, setting planning meetings, managing business operations.
Interviewing, hiring, training, directing, and supervising a staff of employees for the purpose of completing forecasted revenue. He/she has the authority to evaluate, discipline, and terminate the employment of subordinates.
Keeping accurate and complete records on staff, inventory, weather data, maintenance procedures, chemical applications, etc.
Planning and projecting work to achieve the agreed-upon scope of work to comply with all requirements, and oversees the training, scheduling, and deploying of personnel to accomplish the work in compliance with all safety, best practices, and local, state, and federal guidelines.
Developing and implementing plans to reduce impacts on the environment including storm water management, waste management and erosion control; and improve the overall sustainability of the facilities.
Managing equipment fleet in compliance with DOT and/or company guidelines.
Approving all expenditures and exercising cost control measures to keep operating expenses in line with the approved budgets.
Communicating regularly with other members of the local and corporate management team to discuss activities, goals, plans and user input.
Applicant Requirements
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in similar work in the commercial, industrial, or residential services industry.
Education to include a bachelors degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, Environmental Sciences, or similar agricultural or business programs are highly encouraged to apply.
Proficient administrative and executive ability, especially in terms of problem-solving and decision making.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Willingness to participate in seminars, workshops, web-based training courses, field days, and trade shows.
Must Have Qualifications:
Previous experience performing and managing outdoor labor services.
Leadership, customer service, profit/loss management, budgeting, forecasting, and computer skills.
Ability to manage work groups from the office and at outdoor customer sites in varying environmental conditions.
Ability to travel overnight, as needed.
Preferred Nice to Haves:
Experience with industrial facilities maintenance, spray application, and equipment (environmental or erosion control, stormwater maintenance, aquatics, or other similar service industries).
Herbicide/Pesticide Applicator License (any state).
Pay and Benefits:
Salary range for General Managers is $50,000-100,000 per year depending on experience and background.
Fulltime, permanent position, Monday-Friday day shift.
