Purple Moon is seeking a dedicated Toddler Teacher to provide an individualized and stimulating learning environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a strong afinity for nature and the nature world, strong communication skills, and will have the ability to work positively with children, parents and colleagues. The right toddler teacher should also be able to create a stimulating and fun environment for toddlers as wellas promoting social and emotional growth in children.

Responsibilities:

• The Early Childhood Teacher is primarily responsible for loving and responsive care of children from infants to preschool age.
• Responsible for positive interactions with children, co-teachers, and parents/guardians and for promoting a home like atmosphere in the classroom.
• Responsible for the children’s health and safety as well as assuring compliance with all state and local governing contracting agencies.
• Design customized curriculum plans by adapting daily care routines and plans to the interests and needs of the individual child and the group.
• Provide a safe, healthy and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that reflects the children’s learning, interests, and growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
