Key Responsibilities:

Working with the GTM Leader, design, develop and implement short and mid-term sales strategies for the US region which will:
-
Align to the overall Tax strategic goals and priorities
-
Deliver the defined revenue, growth and customer metrics for the US region
-
Build a winning sales culture with high motivation and engagement
-
The structure and roles of the sales function are clearly articulated and aligns to our strategy and operating model
-
The bench strength of talent meets or exceeds our requirements today and in the future
-
The team are focused on the right priorities, are accountable and measured accordingly
-
People processes are in place to address performance reviews & management, succession planning, career development including coaching and mentoring
-
Support the development and communication of all sales compensation plans for the team
Ensure the sales function operates to the highest possible standards by:
-
Implementing the appropriate review and measurement processes to ensure targets are achieved.

Defining and establishing a communication approach that ensures the timely dissemination and gathering of information including metrics, customer issues,
-
Working with the sales ops team to increase productivity through leveraging technology to drive efficient business processes
-
Leading and managing the operational cycles of the function e.g. account planning, sales reviews, team meetings,
-
Working with other stakeholders to ensure all sales enablement tools are aligned to product and GTM strategies
-
Building effective cross functional working relationships with other key stakeholders
-
Sharing knowledge and experience that can be leveraged into other regions.

Serving as a coach, mentor and role model to other sales professionals
-
Providing advice, input and feedback into key cycles e.g. strategic planning, decision making and issue resolution
Skills & Requirements
-
Degree or diploma in Business Administration
-
Minimum 7+years of previous experience in similar role
-
A proven track record of delivering successful complex change and transformation initiatives; The ideal candidate will feel comfortable leading and communicating change and ensuring the team drive to a successful delivery. A logical thinker who can identify a critical path and necessary steps to completion and who anticipate roadblocks and remove them.

The sales leader has experience and a clear picture of how best in class sales function needs to be structured and operate.

A seasoned sales leader with a proven ability to attract, retain and motivate sales teams to deliver sustainable revenue goals. An expert practitioner who acts as a coach and mentor to more junior staff to ensure that the appropriate learning and development processes and experiences are in place.

An experienced operational leader who has a disciplined approach to sales management, managing its key processes and defines the appropriate metrics to ensure risks are mitigated and the appropriate governance structure is in place to be able to effectively meet our defined goals.
