Job Summary:

The Director of IT Clinical Ancillary Applications is responsible for successfully leveraging delivery system applications and technologies across Froedtert Health including, but not limited to: Epic Radiant, PACs, CPACs and other ancillary systems. Provides oversight, planning, consultation, coordination and implementation leadership for the Froedtert Clinical Application teams under their leadership. Manages all elements of their application teams portfolio. Maintains a first-class team through retention and recruitment as appropriate. Oversees and is responsible for day-to-day operations of the teams in addition to Epic Project responsibilities. Proposes and manages relevant capital and operating budgets for the teams. Responsible for overseeing large-scale multi-year projects dealing with many different stakeholders including clinical, operations and technical groups within the institution, as well as collaborating peer teams with matrix reporting.

EXPERIENCE :

At least ten years experience in healthcare information technology required. Prior experience with Enterprise clinical system implementation projects, and at least six years of management experience including supervision of employees and budgetary responsibilities required. Experience supporting and implementing Epic and Ancillary clinical applications required. Previous Epic or Clinical Applications Director or Manager experience across multiple applications: Radiant, Cupid, PACs, CPACs preferred.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT or other related field required. Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Public Administration, or a related technical field preferred.

LICENSURE:

Epic Certifications in one or more modules preferred.
