As a Cross Domain Solutions Engineer, you’ll contribute to modernization efforts to incorporate advanced security techniques, active integrity, automation, and container orchestration tools to increase the resilience, reliability, and overall security of a large, mission-critical enterprise security service. You will help ensure an Infrastructure as Code (IAC) mindset first and incorporate mature development practices to contribute to a secure platform. We need your experience to lead the development and implementation of security solutions that will enable getting the right information to the right people at the right time anywhere in the world.

On our team, you’ll develop a platform to solve complex security and information-sharing challenges for customers. You’ll use your curiosity for technology and market trends to further research and develop security solutions. Using your knowledge and experience in Cisco, Linux, Python, and unique networking situations, you’ll strive to create solutions that ensure high assurance even in contested environments.

You Have:

• Experience in an infrastructure, DevSecOps, or application development role

• Experience with Linux engineering and administration

• Experience with automation tools, including Python, SaltStack, Ansible, or Terraform

• Experience with modern infrastructure, including vSphere, networking security, or storage

• Knowledge of containers and related security technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, Twistlock, Falco, or eBPF

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with advanced Linux Security, including FACLs, SELinux, SECCOM, or eBPF

• Experience with automating Secure Supply Chain through CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with database and monitoring tools, including MySQL, MongoDB, ELK, or Prometheus

• Ability to develop custom Kubernetes Operators

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in a Technology-related field

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certification

• DoD 8570 IAT II Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
