Description:
Craig Technologies Space, FBM Program, is seeking an Electrical Component Engineer Staff to join our team in Denver, CO.
In this position you will perform and/or assist in the performance of Parts Engineering, development of the program EEE Parts management plan, or applications engineering tasks evaluate new technologies and work closely with survivability and other agencies such as DLA, Part Manufacturers, and Test Labs.
Additional responsibilities include:
1. Working on a broad range of projects, in both a laboratory and manufacturing environment, that will challenge you to learn and grow in your career.
2. Travel and work closely with suppliers and government agencies to ensure electronic component selections meet both quality expectations and product performance requirements.
3. Manage engineering projects in accordance with the cost and schedule guidelines.
Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, degree in Science Technology Engineering or related field of study.
- 6 - 10 years of experience in related technical fields.
- Experience with Parts Standardization application and technology insertion within the design process.
- Be able to evaluate current and new developing technologies for the EEE parts for the complex design packages.
- Experience in providing technical leadership, demonstrating problem solving skills, coordinating parts issues across the core technical competency areas such as test and evaluation, failure/material analysis, and radiation effects.
- Experience or familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes and test equipment.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or degree in Science Technology Engineering.
- Experience in design with integrated circuits, semiconductors, and passives devices.
- Experience with BOM (Bill of Material) development and management for developmental and production programs.
- Ability to manage engineering projects.
- Experience in working with the Program Office, Contractors, Designers, and other agencies such as DLA.
- Comfortable with communicating in a variety of forums.
- Experience evaluating EEE parts for use in Strategic Rad Hard applications.
- A self-starter who develops solutions to technical issues.
- Experience in participating in major program milestone reviews such as PDR and CDR.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Craig Technologies facility.
Work Schedules:
Craig Technologies supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
