The Chick-fil-A Forest Park Dwarf House is dedicated to serving our guests not just a one-of-a-kind chicken sandwich but also a one-of-a-kind service experience in a quick service environment. Most fast food restaurants barely go the first mile with their food & service, but we desire to always go the second mile. Dwarf House is extra special because we offer heritage food items that Truett Cathy served at his original restaurant (started in 1946), as well as some southern favorites like macaroni & cheese, collard greens, and other delicious sides and food items. We also offer our signature full-service section of the restaurant where guests can eat their favorite Chick-fil-A and Dwarf House products while being cared for by a server and dining on china.

We consider each role at Dwarf House as more than just a job; it’s an opportunity. No experience is required for our entry- level team members, and we will train you to offer world-class service to our guests or how to cook our delicious menu items, including our signature hand-breaded chicken. Pay Type: Starting at up to $15/hr, commensurate with availability and experience

Requirements:

● Must be 16 or older

● Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, standing for up to 8 hours and lifting up to 40lbs

Responsibilities:

● Greeting and serving guests with enthusiasm, courtesy, and hospitality

● Educate guests of products offerings and promotions in the dining room

● Providing 2nd mile service by helping guests to their table

● Ensure guest complaints are resolved properly and swiftly

● Serve menu items to guests at their table

● Take orders efficiently and effectively

● Proactively sanitize tables and chairs

● Pass out mints to guests as they’re finishing their meals

● Responsible for interacting with guests and staff in a cordial, efficient and professional manner

● Collect cash, ring guests checks, and process all credit card transactions

● Responsible for serving food and beverages following established guidelines and procedures

● Take out garbage and maintain a clean & organized dining room

● Must love to smile and connect with people

● Model and support clear communications between the front counter staff

● Follow sanitation and safety procedures

● Seat guests, clear and set tables, and prepare to go orders.

• Must be able to communicate at an effective level with Spanish and English speaking coworkers
