Job description
Zimo Bakery & Cafe is looking to hire part time employees in the barista/cashier role! Positions are available immediately. Barista and guest services experience preferred but not required. Must have positive and respectful attitude. All new hires will be paid hourly rate + tips. All tips go to employees and are distributed based on number of hours worked per pay period.
Note: Compensation includes hourly rate + tips
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a respectful manner
- Good memory retention during and after training period
- Operate a POS system and accept card and cash payments. We offer approximately 20 different pastry items so you will be required to differentiate between them.
- Prepare hot teas
- Prepare bubble tea, blended series, and espresso drinks using our provided recipes
- Restock and prepare items from the toppings bar
- Restock single use items
- Refill syrups
- Respectfully greet guests and take drink orders
- Deliver excellent customer service to our guests
- Maintain cleanliness of the store, including equipment and appliances, counters, and dining area.
Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years old
- Dependable, responsible and self-motivated
- Friendly with good personality
- Be a team player who works well with others
- Neat appearance and good hygiene
- Must have reliable transportation
- Customer service/restaurant background a plus
