SUMMARY:

Processes personal checks, cash advance transactions, and TITO tickets in a courteous and timely manner. Records transactions for each guest in computer systems. Responsible for cash funds while on duty.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Includes but not limited to the following)

· Facilitates all financial transactions.

· Processes Winner’s Receipts, including foreign and non-foreign tax withholding forms.

· Safeguards company assets and adheres to all Cage policies and procedures.

· Maintains and is held accountable for all funds entrusted to him/her on an assigned shift.

· Provides prompt, friendly, and courteous service to all Guests and Team Members in a confidential manner.

· Ensures that all transactions are performed in compliance with Title 31 and are properly recorded in the system.

· Must be a team player able to work well with others, neat in appearance with good hygiene.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Minimum one (1) year of high-volume cash handling or equivalent. Banking experience preferred, however, candidates with related cashiering and Guest service background will be considered. High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance

instructions, and policy and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other Team Members of the organization.

· Ability to communicate in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

· Must possess basic math skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use a calculator by 10-key touch.

REASONING ABILITY:

· Must have the ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram form instructions.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

· Ability to obtain and maintain a Lytton Tribal Gaming Commission gaming license at all times of employment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. The team member frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from quiet in the back of the house and office areas to moderate on the Gaming floor.

· Should be able to adapt well to the casino environment, involving large numbers of people, loud and continuous high noise level. Must also be able to psychologically handle the concepts of persons occupying an establishment for the purposes of gambling, drinking, eating and smoking for long periods of time.

Hiring Practice:

• Must pass drug test and background check
• Proof of full vaccination may be required.

Graveyard Shifts are the shifts available:

11pm-7:30am
