Job description

The ideal candidate will play a role in the development of multiple parts of the business by analyzing past, current, and future business trends. This individual will establish strategies to achieve desired outcomes and implement these strategies. They will often work cross-functionally with internal business units in order to understand the challenges that these teams face and provide solutions to these groups.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop Business Capability Model, RTM, Business process flow diagrams with step tables, Market Research Report, ROM / FAW, Logical diagrams, Privacy assessment, user stories and use cases.
  • Experience delivering artifacts aligned with BABOK.
  • Communicate strategies alongside the technical team
  • Perform all aspects of business analysis including gathering business, functional and/or technical requirements and architecting network, middleware, interface and security requirements and design for the future applications
  • Requirements Management Activities
  • Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) activities (when necessary)
  • Conduct market research (including RFI coordination, vendor meetings, research analyst inquiries, and surveys of peers)
  • Conducting workshops for deliverable development and review
  • Plan and facilitate business analysis meetings
  • Create and Deliver Training Plan
  • Develop training material and evaluate effectiveness

  • Requirements Traceability Matrix (populated with requirements)
  • Business Process Flow Diagrams with step tables
  • Requirements Specification Document
  • Market Research Report
  • Cost Analysis ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) or FAW (Financial Analysis Worksheet)
  • System Logical Diagrams
  • System Physical Diagrams
  • Privacy Threshold Assessment / Privacy Impact Assessment
  • User Stories or Use Cases

Qualifications / Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years - managing enterprise level projects and performing project support activities.
  • Minimum 4 years - authoring developer-friendly documentation (e.g., design documentation, deployment procedures).
  • Minimum 3 years - performing business analysis leveraging BABOK best practices.
  • Minimum 2 years - using Power BI or other data visualization software.
