The Branch Manager is responsible for leading their team as well as producing. This means loan preparation, evaluation, processing and successfully closing of 1-4 loans monthly. The Branch Manager will analyze and interpret financial statements, tax returns and loan applications with consideration of underwriting guidelines and loan programs being offered by Doorway Home Loans to learn and understand customer’s goals. As your team builds there are lots of options for how to grow your career. Duties and Responsibilities

• Build a team and grow your career with Doorway

• Training and motivating your team

• Onboarding new members

• Helping structure loans or fix problems in encompass origination software

• Provide award-winning customer service.

• Identify prospective customers through self-sourcing with new and referral business.

• Conduct thorough follow-up, close sales, and advise customers of next steps.

• Stay current on new products available for customers.

• Effective communication with internal and external partners involved in the loan process.

Requirements

• Active NMLS license in your current state of employment; as required by SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act.

• Minimum 3 year of related professional experience.

• Ideally 1 year of experience leading a team but not a requirement

• Proven successfultrack record of accomplishments in originating loans and meeting sales goals.

• Strong communication skills(verbal/written/listening/presentation).

• Ability to multitask, problem solve, andefficiently manage time in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledgeable withpersonal computers and applicable software

• Team player with the ability to thrive in a structured and competitive environment
