The ideal candidate is a craft beer enthusiast, with a strong knowledge of cocktail preparation who has a passion for food and creating an innovative, exceptional experience for our guests. We are seeking motivated, friendly, guest service oriented beertenders/ bartenders to serve as ambassadors for our brand. A passion for all things craft beer, the ability to mix up delicious drinks and a commitment to continuous learning, are essential. PART-TIME, WEEKENDS REQUIRED.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide guests with a positive Tap Room experience and beer education

Have a thorough knowledge of our restaurant and menu items
Deliver professional, courteous, and efficient service to our Guests
Greet guests and build rapport by asking questions and initiating conversation

Educate guests about our beers and beverage offerings

Knowledge and experience with cocktail preparation
Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere

Verify identification and age requirements of customers

Mix traditional and creative cocktails

Process payment from customers

Clean glasses and bar utensils

Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences

Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits, when requested

QUALIFICATIONS

One or more years previous experience as a bartender preferably in a brewpub establishment

Ability to perform various drink making techniques

Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

Ability to work in a collaborative environment

Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software

Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

TIPS or ServSafe Certification required upon employment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time

· Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds

· Ability to work long and non-traditional business hours

$500 Retention Bonus
