SUMMARY:

The barista will prepare high quality beverages and products for the Coeur d' Alene Casino Resort guests while ensuring a clean and productive environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and tear down scheduled area and ensure daily duties are performed.
• Utilize proper training and drink making techniques for making quality products.
• Organize and rotate stock in stand and refrigeration.
• Follow proper sanitation and food handling practices.
• Prepare menu items and drinks quickly, consistently, and efficiently.
• Assist any Barista in any form to ensure Customer satisfaction.
• Clean assigned work area and restock as needed.
• Coordinate, work with, and help fellow employees.
• Communicate with other Baristas, Managers, and Customers in a positive and effective manner.
• Ensure all products that are served are of the highest quality for our guests.
• Help be a part of a positive team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or its equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• At least 6 months of previous experience preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Skills/Knowledge:

• Cashier skills preferred.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently with hands required.
• Ability to use products and machine(s) effectively while performing duties preferred.
• Must be able to follow instructions precisely.
• Must work well in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task is a must.
• Ability to manage conflict and to influence outcomes required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and organizational skills required.
• Ability to handle ambiguous and complex situations; to develop new solutions is required.
