Position Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Designs and engineers automated test scripts using automation tools and scripting tools.
- Plays a role in process improvement efforts to verify test execution, planning, and reporting is efficient.
- Write and/or review test plans, test procedures, and installation procedures.
- Execute installation procedures and test procedures on the numerous systems in a laboratory environment and record results.
- Determine courses of action when encountering issues and translate to documentation such as problem reports.
- Troubleshoot issues to determine root cause analysis.
- Additional duties and requirements may apply.
Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
- Experience in test script development using Python and Javascript.
- Execution and exposure to Eggplant and ReadyAPI.
- Ability to write clear and complete test and installation procedures.
- Understanding of IP Networking.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Server 2012/2016/2019).
- General knowledge of databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to re-prioritize tasking on short notice and identify & communicate the impact of change.
- Quick learner, creative, resourceful, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
The minimum level of education required is: Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Desired Requirements
- General Cisco switch knowledge including WAN concepts.
- General knowledge of McAfee Endpoint Security.
- General virtualization experience including VMWare ESX, Hyper-V (or other virtualization platforms).
- U.S. Citizen
- Secret Clearance
