Equis Hotels, LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager with Hilton brand experience to join our team at the St Louis Downtown Home2/TRU by Hilton.
Job Overview:
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for all day to day activities in the hotel. We are looking for a self-motivated leader strong on the Hilton systems who can help take our hotel to the next level.
Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Duties:
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget
- Assist with the completion of weekly forecasts
- Utilize financials to drive revenues, profitability and maximum return on investment.
- Maximize market share using intelligence gathered from industry standard reports
- Ensure cost controls are in place and being adhered to at all times
- Monitor labor on a weekly basis to ensure staffing levels are at appropriate levels to maintain customer service and profitability
- Complete the payroll for the entire hotel
People:
- Lead the charge in creating a culture that values team members and guests. A culture that motivates the team to do their best and want the best for all of their fellow team members.
- Develop/implement incentives to help drive revenues and customer engagement levels
- Provide constant feedback to team members to help improve the operations of the hotel
- Oversee all human resource activities within the hotel such as: hiring, discipline, terminations, wage increase, performance reviews
Sales/Revenue:
- Assist the sales team in finding leads for new business or growing our current business
- Motivating the front desk team to provide leads to our sales team to follow up on
Brand Involvement:
- Must ensure all brand standards are followed at all times
- Complete Hilton Brand Standard audits to ensure the hotel is in compliance with brand standards
- Ensure all training is complete for all team members within the allotted amount of time after hiring has commenced
Guest Experience:
- Set goals for all areas of the hotel coordinating with guest survey questions/responses
- Ensure guest satisfaction is the most important goal of our team members
- Constantly monitor and respond to all guest survey/review responses daily
- Engage guests during check-in, check-out, breakfast
- Ensure guest rooms are 100% ready for their arrival in clean and working condition.
Experience Required:
- Preference given to candidates with at least 2 years of hotel management experience.
