JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Technician is responsible for carrying out all assigned duties as instructed by the Sr Cleaning Technician
while preforming carpet and air duct cleaning services and dryer vent cleaning in the members home. The Assistant Technician will
carry in and set up equipment and tools necessary for the cleaning air vents and dryer vents throughout the residential home. The
Assistant Technician will aide the Sr Cleaning Technician in inventory control, directions and all other tasks necessary for successful
cleaning of air ducts and dryer vents.
JOB SCOPE:
The Assistant Technician (IAQ & Duct) assists in the successful cleaning of residential homes HVAC air duct vents and dryer vents.
The Assistant Technician will work in a two-man team and supports the Sr Cleaning Technician in 4 to 5 services calls each work day.
Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transports required cleaning equipment and tools from Air Duct truck into the residential home in preparation of each job
• Returns all company owned cleaning equipment and tools to Air Duct truck and secures it for trip to next assigned appointment
• Assists Sr Cleaning Technician (IAQ & Duct) with directions to customer location, and serves as a spotter behind the truck during all backing maneuvers
• Assists the Sr Cleaning Technician (IAQ & Duct), when necessary, with the sale of as many additional services that the customer may desire, including IAQ products including filters and UV lights
• Cleans truck upon return to branch
• Inventories equipment assigned to vehicle and reports any discrepancies to the Sr Cleaning Technician (IAQ & Duct) / Branch Manager immediately
• Performs the preliminary check of truck each morning, including oil level, water level and tire pressure
• Restocks supplies and ensures all tools are in truck ready for next business day
• Performs other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• License/certification in relevant field
• Valid Driver License for the State of employment
• 16 years of age or older

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Ability to regularly reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to communicate in spoken and written English well enough to be understood by supervisors, co-workers, and customers
• Ability to enter data and maneuver efficiently using a keyboard, operate a mouse, use telephone and headset equipment, and listen while keying information into the system
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of frequent sitting and some standing and walking, with bending and reaching as necessary
• Ability to demonstrate self control by maintaining composure and keeping emotions in check even in difficult situations
• Must have general knowledge of residential air duct structures and how they relate with heating/AC systems
• All employees/associates may in the course of their duties come in contact with Credit / Debit Card Data. If this data is exposed as part of their position in the site/center, the associate must protect that data as directed and required by the compliance team to ensure SHC s compliance to current Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS)
